Material Display

Material Display is an excellent tool to develop creativity in order to make boring topics to interesting ones.

Our topic was

THE ENVIRONMENT IN EL SALVADOR

1. POLLUTION

2. HEALTH MATTERS

3. DEFORESTATION

4. NATURAL DISASTERS

1. POLLUTION

POLLUTION IN EL SALVADOR HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BIGEST PROBLEM. THE AIR, SOIL, AND WATER ARE CONTA,MINATING BY HUMANS. THERE ARE MANY POLLUTANTS THAT DESTROY OUR COUNTRY FOR EXAMPLE; THERE ARE MANY DANGEROUS CHEMICALS THAT END UP IN RIVERS AND IN THE OCEAN THAT MAY CAUSE PLANTS AND ANIMALS DIE. ALSO, THERE ARE SOME POLLUTANTS LIKE SMOKE STACKS, OIL SPILLS, CHEMICAL WASTE, RAW SEWAGE, TRASH, FERTILIZERS, AND LANFILLS THAT POLLUTE THE AIR , THE WATER, ETC.SO, THESE POLLUTANTS CAUSE THE ACID RAIN.

NATURAL DISASTERS
Natural disasters are changes which are so great they may cause damage to the shape of the land or to the lives of people and other living things. Here in El Salvador we have experienced some natural disasters,as for example, earthquakes, volcano eruption, and flood.

This is one of our games in the material diplay

The students will throw a ball in whichever box.

I was born in El Congo city on October 08, 1990,  there I growth and I lived my child hood, at 6 years old I went to kindergarten, after my first grade to ninth grade I went to the “Union Centro Americana”  school, my high school did in the Chalchuapa city because my family had to move there for work, my family and I have lived  in Chalchuapa city since 2006 to date , I have a small family my mother y my brother because my father died, my mother’s name is Ena del Socorro Jimenez Castillo and my brother’s name is Alexander Jonathan Jiménez Castillo I am the oldest of the two.  In 2009 I began my college career at the university of El Salvador western multidisciplinary campus; I started studying Doctorate in general medicine but it made me very difficult to continue there and I did not have enough time because is very sacrificed career and I had to change in 2012 to Degree in English language teaching option, I really love this career because I love English and I like teach it to other people, and for the same reason I know that I will be very good teacher in the future.

INTRODUCTION

I want to introduce with the realization of my blog and I would like to know  some things  about the experience in my teaching practice as practitioner and the benefits obtained by performing teaching practices in classrooms with students from high school and benefits gained from mastering the fear of speaking in public to be having contact with them every day and thus students get to know some of their needs or learning difficulties and also knowing and practicing and teaching some strategies to getting very good results in their grades.

 SELF REFLECTION

I think that the subject didactic of English teaching is basic in our career of teaching because, help us know how to teach a class, help us know if we can use methodologies that are right or wrong, as we also give teaching class  according to the age of the students, how directed talking toward students either if you speak in public or talk to them individually and so there are very good reasons that why I think that didactic of English is essential in our languages career.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My teaching philosophy is that the students using the knowledge I provide them in class to facilitate their learning, this means that for my part I will provide the necessary tools or if they have any questions about the teaching clarify this doubt the best way to be friendly with the student to clarify any question that is done, and so bring them to obtain success for excellent  academic performance and to see that they can make and that nothing is impossible and as a teacher find them the means to make more fun/entertaining the learning process and that students feel more interested in learning when they feel that teaching is not boring the opposite which is a dynamic education in a fun environment with some games aimed at all this good learning for students.

        MY EXPERIENCE

My experience in the teaching practice of English as a practitioner teacher was very rewarding during and at the end of practice, because I learned how to live with students from high school, at first I thought it would be difficult because at this age can sometimes be difficult to control their behavior and capture their attention but little by little I earning their attention, respect, how? being kind, caring and respecting to each one; and through games and dynamic classes who felt a more entertaining learning environment, letting them know that I have confidence or if they had any questions to ask to me without any fear. My goal as a practitioner of a foreign language teaching was to be a good English teacher explaining each topic very well clarify the doubts and questions that had my students but looking different teaching methods to make learning entertaining outside to get a better education.
