MY TEACHING PHILOSOFY
MY TEACHING PHILOSOFY
I am very happy to be a teacher because I consider that teaching is an excellent way of helping others, for example, sharing knowledge with them. Also, my students share knowledge with me, and as some people say that learning does not stop; I think that it is true because every day we learn something different.
I really enjoy teaching and encouraging others because sometimes people just need a help. I really love to teach because I consider that teaching is a special way to motivate people to become better everyday.
I try to be patience all the time and to understand the situations or problems the students have in order to make better classes.
EXPERIENCE
This teaching practice was really nice and interesting because I went to a school that has the program of a distance learning. In other words, I taught students who went on weekends to the school. I went on Saturdays in the mornig. I had students from 18 to 28 years old. It was a really nice experience because I am just 20 years old, and it is the first time that I taught students over my age. My students were really respectful because I taught them with respect, too. In other words, I did not consider myself better than them just of my experience. On the contrary, I tried to motivate and to encourage them to learn English event though they just went to classes on Saturdays.
I really tried to understand them because they made a good efford when going to school because they work during the week. That's why, I made dynamic activities in order to make them learn the new lessons.
I liked very much when they understood the topics and when they asked me to help them. That's why, I advise teachers to be really patience all the time and to motivate students even though they look as if they do not want to learn. The results are really good because the satisfaction of teaching others is really amazing.
Moreover, I advise teachers to understand students because sometimes they are really tired of their jobs or maybe they have problems at home.
The better a teacher can do is to be a friend and a excellent teacher at the same time.
